Chpt VI

Daniel Pinks learning to make his self portrait is nothing short of amusing! When summing up this chapter I find myself thinking back to portraits my parents kept from my youth. It is very similar to his first self portrait when he was using "hieroglyphics" not "drawing" there is a freedom and comfort that needs to be opened in order to try and draw... that is why in drawing classes they do silly exercises to get your brain thinking and eyes seeing and most of the intimidation of white paper to dissipate! Its almost tempting to try it in both prospectives, just to see if I do both... hmm, maybe ill do that...
